Vertically Mounted Shaft Alignment

The Fixturlaser XA is a powerful system for precision laser alignment of shafts in vertically mounted machines. Features including: colour LCD touch screen, onscreen animations, Bluetooth data transfer, large detector areas, line laser technology and live onscreen measurements - combine to offer the most sophisticated and user-friendly vertical alignment system currently available.

Vertical machines are normally mounted with bolts on a flange instead of feet, which make the calculation of the correction values different from horizontal machines. The bolts may differ in numbers and are situated on a circle around the flange.

The Fixturlaser XA shaft alignment system can be used to measure and align vertically mounted and flange mounted machines. Results are presented with positions for each bolt

Easy to Use Alignment System

Three readings are required to determine the machine position. The tripoint method provides a quick and easy way to register the readings. The result is instantly displayed on the screen.

Alignment Tool Display

Vertical shaft alignment with Fixturlaser XA shaft Alignment System. The result screen (on the left) shows the current position of the motor. The measured motor has 8 bolts where the lowest positioned bolt is set to 0. This provides easy adjustments and clearly outlines the necessary shimming.
